The Hamptons Housing Market
Although it was established in 1990, the southern section of the Hamptons real estate market was annexed in 1976. The northern section of this neighbourhood, located north of Edgemont, was annexed later, in 1989. Some of the area's first real estate developments occurred in the early 2000's, while the majority of the houses were constructed after 2005.
The Harvest Hills golf course, which is considered to be the most challenging of all the 9-hole golf courses in the entire province of Alberta, is not the only reason why The Hamptons is exceptional. Located east of the Sarcee Trail and north of Country Hills Boulevard, this area offers home buyers the gift of a panoramic view of Nose Hill's northwestern slope.
As a gated community, the housing market in the Hamptons has become one of the most sought-after in the city. Real estate in Hamptons properties were established by developers such as Chancellor, Goldmark, Westglen, Calbridge, Sundance, Janssen, Lupi, Classic Craft, Glenwood, and Beattie. Here you can find a number of estate homes that are valued at $1 million or more, as well as single-family units with lower price tags.
The Hamptons Neighbourhood Amenities
The Hamptons Community Association features sports fields, tennis courts, and a multi-purpose building among its amenities. Country Hills Village is excellent for shopping, while Crowfoot Towne Centre, located off Nose Hill Drive, has restaurants, several auto dealers, a Safeway and a Revy.
Not only does the quick commute to the West Edmonton Mall make the homes for sale in the Hamptons attractive to prospective buyers but there are many other amenities to enjoy close by as well.
